The G-Profile Turbo POI is a multi-environmental, maintenance-free RLB LED moving head with an IP66-rating and a bright color output. The high-brightness LED moving head is based on an optimized additive color mixing to match the highest demands of color rendering and total output. Its framing system allows the G-Profile Turbo POI to perform beam-shaping images and projections via four individually controllable blades with module rotation. The integrated dehumidifier ensures perfect inner cleanness of the luminaire and no accumulation of dust or externally induced impact on internal optics, gobos, or the light source unit.
The G-Profile Turbo POI with full ‘moving head’ functionalities is designed and manufactured in Denmark and blends in with any contemporary or historical architecture. It features FX wheel, 4-blade rotating framing module, ultra-high-speed strobe, linear frost, and smooth iris feature. Base and heat sinks are made from extruded or pressure cast marine grade aluminum, Oxsilan ® pre-treated, and powder coated to corrosion class C5-M marine grade. The yoke and fan covers are made of durable materials, including impact and UV resistant P6.
This tough and reliable LED luminaire includes a powerful 1000W Red – Lime – Blue LED engine to enhance lumen output and increase the quality of light, capable of deep saturates and smooth color transitions. It delivers a staggering lumen output, not only in white, but also in color. The G-Profile Turbo POI is able to create bright and soft colors but also the well-known SGM RGB mixing by using the Green Color Mode feature. This makes the G-Profile Turbo POI the perfect luminaire to enhance specific architectural large-scale details or to create animated effects even if layered on top of a generous general wash of light. The G-Profile Turbo POI is the brightest and most qualified spot in its range with framing capabilities. By using the new RLB additive mixing, the G-Profile Turbo is able to output impressive high-CRI whites while maintaining the 2000K – 10000K K color temperature control.
One of the big advantages of the G-Turbo POI series is the extended color palette. This is caused by the usage of Lime LEDs instead of the Green LEDs available in the G-Profile POI. Now, it is possible to achieve warmer colors, richer yellows, and a wider variety of green shades. With the special dichroic technology, the G-Profile Turbo POI is also able to create deep saturated greens and even more contrasted colors.
With the advanced and adjustable framing shutters, the G-Profile Turbo POI is able to perform beam-shaping images and projections. Each of the four individually controllable blades is adjustable +/- 30º, while the module is rotatable through +/- 45º rotation.
The G-Profile Turbo POI still provides the option of combining framing techniques with FX wheel, 4-blade rotatory framing module, and 1 rotatory gobo wheel open for gobo animation and interaction when framing is used. This is a perfect appliance for theatres and architectural installations. The gobo projection is very sharp and detailed, with no hotspots in the centre of the beam. The G-Profile Turbo POI uses glass gobos not affected by the heat, so the pattern is always fully focused.
With a 8° to 43° zoom range, plus an additional pseudo zoom down to 1, the G-Profile Turbo POI can illuminate any building. Being water, dirt, and sand proof, the internal optics are always clean to get the maximum brightness from the light source. Worst case scenario, the front lens must merely be wiped off, which is a huge time and cost saver, effectively eliminating the need for cleaning and maintenance.
The durable IP66-rating of the G-Profile Turbo POI luminaire ensures that the fixture is kept free from externally induced particles and liquids on internal electronics, optics, and light sources, including acidic air pollution, making it ideally suited for near- and offshore areas with high salinity. The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution, and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification, not only removes humidity, but also prevents oxidation and condensation, while a gore-tex membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks. The technology consists of a uniquely designed body and heat sink, which ensures optimal cooling of the LED chips. Additionally, the special aluminum alloy and surface treatment ensures maximum heat dispersion while the fan-assisted cooling ensures optimal performance at any time and under any conditions (such as variable temperatures, limited airflows, confined installation spaces, etc.).

The G-Profile Turbo POI can be mounted in any direction. Additionally, M-10 bolts are included, which ensures the fixture can be tightly screwed to a surface, protecting it from both vandalism and theft. The M-10 bolts are suitable for any kind of custom-made bracket and are included with all POI fixtures. Handles can be found in the base as well to help users mount the fixture.
Included SGM technologies
This thermal management techonology provides Advaced Temperature Control monitored via sensors and software, keeping optimal LED junction temperatures, and ensuring maximum reliability for long-term use. SGM’s predictive color mixing algorithm compesates the decay levels of color-based LEDs for superior color rendering. Finally, the ThermalDriveTM system includes cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal tecniques and active forced-air cooling (depending on the product), specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency while extending fixture’s lifetime.
SGM uses Full Range Calibration in all LED fixtures over CIE space and black body curve, measured via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software. The consistency of each product and its lifetime expectancy is monitored throught inbuilt sensors to compensate color shifting and to allow color temperature re-calibration. To provide the best user experience, SGM’s Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction within the product range via colored LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing (depending on the product); all of them specified to match the SGM color palette.
SGM’s integrated patented Dehumidification process eliminates humidity and breaks down corrosive H2SO4 molecules deriving from polluted air to avoid destructive corrosion. Inbuilt dehumidifiers constantly remove trapped hydrogen from inside of the lighting fixture in a solid estate electrolytic process with no moving parts. The DryTechTM procedure is also based on a Ingress Protection rating of 65 or 66 (depending on the fixture), intended as a full protection against dust and other particles, while ensuring protection against direct water jets.
