Jeff Bell Glasscasts

Jeff Bell Glasscasts
QUEENS GATE PLACE, KENSINGTON

Glass casting artists, Jeff Bell, worked with Architainment Lighting to illuminate a sculpture he had made for a luxurious private residence in London.

Made entirely of frosted glass scales, the serpent-like structure occupies five floors of the home, weaving up the staircase ceilings, sometimes bursting through the landing floorboards. Architainment Lighting supplied Philips Color Kinetics iColor Flex LMX and provided a Light System Manager (LSM) controller for the installation.

Architainment Lighting’s technical services team programmed the iColor Flex LMX fixtures to work through a series of colour intensities, to create the illusion that the sculpture is moving. The lighting can also be controlled through button stations located on several floors of the property.
