Architainment is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring the inaugural conference at this years Lewes Light festival.

The conference takes place on Friday 14th October 2016, and features an array of speakers from the UK and abroad.

Graham Festenstein, Festival Director and Curator of Lewes Light comments” We’re delighted that Architainment Lighting is sponsoring the conference. This valuable funding has allowed us to attract a number of speakers, and deliver what we believe will be a very interesting conference programme”

Nic Tolkien, Managing Director of Architainment Lighting comments” We’re very happy to continue our support of Lewes Light again this year. Last year we partnered with Nulty+ to illuminate Pells Pool, and also worked with Karen van Creveld to light up Lewes Castle. Both installations received very positive feedback, and showed how light can be used to transform environments.

The introduction of a conference this year adds an important educational dimension to the festival, and we’re delighted to support it”

The day will be chaired by John Bullock – Director of John Bullock Lighting Design, and includes the following speakers:

Cashel Brown – Designer at Nulty+

Johan Moritz – Lighting Designer for the City of Malmo, Sweden

Mike Grubb – Creative Director Michael Grubb Studio

A speaker from the London School of Economics Configuring Light Programme

Richard Eastham – Director Feria Urbanism

An interview with Paule Constable – Lighting Designer for Theatre & Opera

Alex May – Artist and Projection Mapping Specialist

Dan Oakley – Dark Skies Lead – The South Downs National Park Authority
